Kurupt FM to takeover Griffin Park when Bristol City visit Brentford

Get ready for a lyrical blow to the jaw - Brentford have announced a takeover of Griffin Park for the visit of Bristol City next week.

Local Brentford heroes Kurupt FM will be given the keys to Griffin Park for the game, with their branding appearing around the ground and on the match programme.

MC Grindah and DJ Beats will also be given the aux chord for the pre-match playlist at Griffin Park when the Robins visit.

Kurupt FM are from the popular BBC Three mockumentary People Just Do Nothing, centred around a pirate drum and bass radio station in Brentford.

The comedy has won rave reviews and spawned UK-wide tours for Kurupt FM, including multiple visits to Bristol.

It is sure to be an unusual build-up to the game, with the quintet also set to takeover Brentford's social media channels.

They said: "We are being given the keys to Griffin Park on October 2.

"So make sure you come down to see Brentford's finest collection of athletes (Kurupt FM)."

Brentford also revealed special Kurupt FM shirts that are on sale before the game.
