Kurt Warner would rank Tom Brady No. 1 on his list of best QBs in NFL

Some controversy was sparked last week when Chris Simms revealed the remainder of his top 40 QBs in the NFL, a list which had Tom Brady as the ninth best quarterback in the league.

Hall of Fame quarterback Kurt Warner was very vocal about his displeasure with Simms’ ranking of Brady, which was carried over to a conversation with WEEI’s afternoon radio show “OMF” on Tuesday.

Warner was asked about the situation and where he has Brady ranked on his list of the best quarterbacks in the NFL.

“I obviously have Tom Brady number one,” Warned said. “With the way he continually has success, continually has his team in championship form, continually makes plays in the biggest moments.”

Warner added that he can sympathize with someone that doesn’t have Brady ranked as high as he does. But he can’t comprehend those that have him ranked past a certain point.

“You don’t have to have him number one,” said the Hall of Fame QB. “No problem. I can see some arguments in why you would move him down. But to have him nine or ten on the list, I mean, to me it’s just crazy.”
