Philadelphian psychedelic folk-pop artist Kurt Vile will perform with his backing band The Violators, following the release of his 2015 album b’lieve i’m going down.

The founding member of The War of Drugs released his solo studio album, Constant Hitmaker in 2008, which, along with God is Saying This To You in 2009, was partially a compilation of the lo-fi home recordings he’d banked up since 2003.

His old-soul voice comes through once again in his sixth solo album, and is a great summation of his ingenius-weirdo appeal.
