Philadelphian psychedelic folk-pop artist Kurt Vile will perform in Australia with his backing band The Violators, following the release of his 2015 album b’lieve i’m going down.

The founding member of The War of Drugs released his first solo studio album, Constant Hitmaker in 2008. The album was made up of the lo-fi home recordings, a process he repeated on his 2009 album God is Saying This To You.

Now on his sixth-solo album, his old-soul voice is stronger than ever – as is his particular “ingenious-weirdo appeal.”
