After impressing one and all in India with his awe-inspiring body of work in the Indian film industry, MM Keeravani has wowed people on a global platform. The ace musician bagged an Oscar for his song, ‘Naatu Naatu’ from RRR at the 95th Academy Awards.
ETimes spoke to singer Kumar Sanu who was all praise for the talented music composer. “It is a very proud moment. Keeravani sir has done some wonderful work in his career. He is a very talented musician. The song ‘Naatu Naatu’ is very rhythmic and has a melody. It has been sung very boldly”, Sanu said.
He added, “His win at the Oscars has put India on the global map once again. Thanks to the entire team for this honour. India is indeed creating waves at the global platform, especially the film industry from down south.”
Several international fans and the Indian diaspora too have been expressing their happiness after India won an Academy Award for ‘Naatu Naatu’ and are seen congratulating the team ‘RRR’ for their big win.
The song has lyrics by Chandra Bose and it has been crooned by singers Rahul Sipligunj and Kaala Bhairava. ‘Naatu Naatu’ also holds the highest number of views on YouTube besides being popular among filmgoers from countries around the world, thanks to choreographer Prem Rakshit's epic choreography.
