Kubrat Pulev kisses reporter live on TV as Anthony Joshua's rival causes stir

They call him the heavyweight contender nobody is talking about.

Now Kubrat Pulev has certainly seen to that, but it's not his efforts in the ring that have grabbed the attention.

Pulev has been slammed on social media after he forcefully kissed a female reporter following his recent fight.

Anthony Joshua's old rival was being grilled by Jenny Sushe following his seventh-round stoppage win over Bogdan Dinu.

The big Bulgarian let the moment get the better of him after his success.

The reporter asks: "If Tyson Fury gets through Tom Schwarz, do you think you should have a shot?"

Then in a very uncomfortable moment, he grabs her face and kisses her on the lips.

She appears to laugh it off, but Pulev didn't dodge serious criticism on social media following his bizarre behaviour.

One boxing fan said on twitter: "Very weird guy. The whole interview he was very creepy. She should press charges."

On wrote: "This is pitiful and an insult to all female broadcasters, interviewers, reporters and journalists."

Tyson Fury claims Deontay Wilder has gone quiet after confirming Tom Schwarz fight

Interviewer Sushe appears to laugh it all off as the 37-year-old makes the advance.

Pulev withdrew from a bout with Joshua in October 2017 - missing out on a big pay day in Cardiff as a result.

He said we wasn't going to fight when not fit and pocket the cash.

“I am aware that the news of my injury and the subsequent cancellation of the match between me and Anthony Joshua for the world title surprised you,” he said.

“It wasn’t easy for me to make that decision. I know, in my place, almost everyone would choose to get into the ring in Cardiff, despite everything and collect a few million.

"Anyone else, but not me. In my life and in my world, it’s not all money.

"I’ve learned that a man goes into battle to win it. I understand that despite the vicissitudes of life, a man should not cheat on his beliefs.”
