Kuala Lumpur seeks to inject new life into urban areas

More than four billion people around the world now live in cities, and that number is set to grow to over six billion by 2050.

Making cities more liveable is the main theme at the ninth session of the World Urban Forum.

The host city, Kuala Lumpur, is exploring ways to rejuvenate its neighbourhoods.
