KSrelief Team Tours Farmers' Fields in Syria's Hama

Syrian farmers work in a wheat field in Maarshamsha in the Idlib countryside, May 31, 2015.

A technical team from King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre (KSrelief) has toured farmers' fields in the village of Al-Hawija in Qalaat Al-Madeeq district in Hama governorate, Syria in order to provide awareness sessions for farmers on the use of agricultural pesticides delivered to them, SPA reported.

This came within the project of empowering the most needy families by supporting agricultural and livestock activities in Syria benefiting 1,000 families.

The support being provided by KSrelief comes to alleviate the suffering of Syrian people due to their difficult humanitarian crisis and to revive the war-affected sectors, particularly the sectors of agriculture and livestock, the most vital sectors in providing food security.
