King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) has distributed 900 food baskets weighing 66 tons and 600 kilograms in Shabwah governorate, benefiting 5400 people as part of the distribution project of 102,170 food baskets.
It also distributed food baskets for the month of March 2019 to 420 orphan families in several governorates under the program "You are not alone" to protect orphan families in the country. In addition to another batch of 462 food baskets weighing 34 tons and 188 kilograms in Hajjah governorate, benefiting 2772 people.
This aid comes within support being provided by the Kingdom represented by the Center to alleviate the suffering of the Yemeni people during the current humanitarian crisis, the Saudi Press Agency reported.
The Saudi aid center also sent support for Syrian refugees in Jordan by distributing relief aid to 861 Syrian families comprising 4,845 people in capital Amman on Tuesday.
The also comes within the framework of the Center's projects being provided to displaced people and Syrian refugees living in neighboring countries to alleviate their sufferings.
