Ksrelief Delivers Medical Aid to Syrian Refugees in Jordan's Zaatari Camp

Clinics of King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) in Jordan's Zaatari camp for Syrian refugees has distributed medicines for those suffering from chronic diseases.

The aid was delivered directly to their homes within the framework of measures taken to stem the spread of the new coronavirus.

The aid delivery came in cooperation with the Jordanian Ministry of Health and United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR).

Medicines to treat chronic diseases were distributed to 840 patients approved by the clinics and they represent about 80% of patients suffering from critical illness.

The medical aid will be sufficient for three months, which is the recommended amount by the UNHCR.

This move comes from the keenness of the Riyadh-based center to help this segment of people because who are more vulnerable to infection with the new virus due to their low immunity.
