KSRelief Assesses Humanitarian Needs in Socotra

A team from the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center, headed by Assistant Supervisor for Operations Ahmed al-Beez, was briefed on the basic humanitarian needs of the residents of Socotra Archipelago.

The team inspected a number of areas, neighborhoods and medical centers in the governorate’s capital on Thursday and assessed in coordination with the Higher Relief Committee the humanitarian needs there.

The field visit of the team comes within the framework of completing the distribution of humanitarian aid in Socotra, which includes food baskets, solutions, medical supplies and equipment, said Beez and reported Saba News agency.

He stressed that the KSRelief is keen to achieve humanitarian intervention in Socotra and cause positive impact in the lives of the people of the Archipelago in partnership with specialized agencies and specialized organizations.

He noted that the team has studied the conditions of the province and priority humanitarian needs of needy families.
