KSI uses reverse psychology to predict winner of Jake Paul vs Tyron Woodley

KSI has predicted that Jake Paul will beat Tyron Woodley - but he is hoping to be proved wrong.

The YouTube stars have been engaged in a heated rivalry for a number of years after KSI, whose real name is JJ Olatunji, called out Jake and his older brother Logan following his boxing debut in February 2018.

Logan ultimately answered the call, fighting KSI to a draw in August 2018 before the pair turned professional for a rematch the following year, which the Brit won via a contentious split decision.

And since that day, a match between KSI and Jake Paul has been one of the most talked about topics in social media circles, although it has yet to materialise.

Now KSI has told YouTuber HarveyMSc that he wants to use reverse psychology having predicted that Paul would lose to AnEsonGib and Ben Askren, which he claims was a jinx on the former UFC fighter and his friend.

"Jake Paul’s going to win," KSI joked while chatting with the fitness coach. "He’s going to absolutely destroy - absolutely destroy Tyron Woodley.

"I haven’t wanted him to win for years and he keeps winning. So, at this point, it’s like, ‘Do your thing. Yeah. Do your thing. You’re in your element. You’re in your moment’."

Paul has been sending mixed messages to KSI in recent weeks, telling him that he had 'no hate' in a TikTok video just days before including him on a ten-fighter hit list that was posted to Instagram.

The younger Paul appeared to have moved on from his feud with the British rapper in a Tik Tok response to a mocking video posted by KSI.

KSI took to Tik Tok to make a video mocking Paul after he released a hit song with Lil Wayne, who is one of the American's favourite musicians.

In the video, KSI said "Jake Paul's idol is Lil Wayne, so I went ahead and made a song with his idol," before joking that he would "never make a song with his idol".

Paul had previously said in a post celebrating his achievements in the immediate aftermath of his third pro boxing win over Ben Askren that Wayne was his idol after introducing him on stage at a concert.

But instead of clapping back at the 'Holiday' hit-maker, who recently hit number one with his album 'All Over The Place', Paul decided to "give credit where credit is due" and praise his old rival.

"Damn. Congrats, this is actually insane," Paul said in the video which has over 6million views. "You've been killing it with your music.

"You're showing the world that 'YouTubers' can accomplish anything - no hate, keep it up."

However, he then included Olatunji on his 'hit list' days later, having told Sky Sports that the YouTuber was "scared" of him.

It appears that the Brit will return to the ring later this year or early next year, with fellow social media star Austin McBroom the likely opponent.
