KSI reunites with boxing coaches ahead of Logan Paul announcement

YouTube star KSI has reunited with his boxing training team just days out from his joint announcement with rival Logan Paul.

The rapper, whose real name is JJ Olatunji, hasn't stepped into the ring since his 2019 split decision win over Paul in Los Angeles, but has been staying in shape while pushing his music career.

Next Tuesday, the social media duo are set to make a big announcement, teasing fans with a poster advertising 'The Final Chapter' of their feud, which will be revealed over an Instagram Live stream.

And less than a week out from the big announcement, which almost certainly won't be a fight but a joint business venture, KSI has again teased fans by posting a photo of a reunion with his boxing trainers that took him to the win.

Trainer Leon Wills and top prospect Viddal Riley, who cornered Olatunji in his two white collar boxing matches as well as his professional debut, can be seen in the photograph.

And fans were further teased when Paul responded with an eyes emoji, indicating suspicion.

Olatunji posted a photo enjoying a meal with coaches Wills and Riley, as well as his bodyguard Steve and physiotherapist Harvey Ubhi, which was captioned "good catch up".

Fans have a number of possible theories for what the announcement could be, including a project relating to NFTs and cryptocurrency, or a possible trilogy to take place in WWE.

But all will be revealed at 9pm UK time on Tuesday January 4 when the pair sit down over Instagram Live to launch their next step.

They have been considerably more cordial of late, sitting down for a friendly podcast recording in the UK earlier this year, on the same trip where Paul appeared in a video with KSI's YouTube group the Sidemen.

The pair went fishing together for the shoot, before sitting down in a London studio to record an episode of Paul's show Impaulsive with co-host George Janko.

However, all is not rosy between KSI and the Paul family, with a bitter feud still ongoing with Logan's younger brother Jake.

The chart-topping rapper is expected to return to the boxing ring late next year to face Austin McBroom in a tune-up fight before finally pursuing a bout with the younger Paul.

Jake Paul has struggled to remain consistent with his feelings towards Olatunji, who kickstarted his boxing career by calling him out in February 2018.

The American YouTube star ended up fighting Olatunji's younger brother Deji in the co-main event of his fight with Logan in the UK before turning professional in 2020.

And the 5-0 boxer has insisted that he is "over" his feud with the Brit, but also featured him on his infamous boxing hitlist.

More will be revealed about KSI's boxing future when he speaks with the elder Paul on Instagram live next week.
