KSI rejects $30million boxing fight offer from rival Jake Paul

Jake Paul has seen his new $30million winner-takes-all offer to bitter rival KSI rejected.

The 'Problem Child' lost to Tommy Fury in his high-profile Saudi Arabia clash last month, his first defeat since entering the boxing ring as a YouTube fighter. Part of the reason for his journey in the squared circle is to settle his rivalry with influencer KSI who is also following a similar path and hoping to touch gloves with Paul.

It has been a long-term feud between the pair who regularly trade verbal barbs over a potential showdown as they both look to prove who is the best influencer fighter. Earlier this year the pair made a renewed agreement to fight in public on social media with the winning star taking home the entire purse.

However Mirror Fighting understands negotiations are now on pause while KSI focuses on his upcoming clash with Joe Fournier, and Paul pursues a second meeting with Fury. But in a fresh public plea to the Briton, Paul has tweeted: "$30million to the winner, nothing to the loser if you want me to agree to your request of 180 pounds and rehydration clause. Agree to that and I’m in. You just supposedly bet £10M so this should be easy to contract right?"

He later added a fresh condition: "Wade Plem has to commentate Paul vs KSI. That’s part of the deal to. Him and [Ariel] Helwani." KSI has since moved to reject the offer, adding: "There is no way I'm doing this deal because you still haven't paid up for your last deal with Tommy Fury after he slapped you up."

Paul later added: "There we go. You, your squirrel and your “partners” don’t have the courage to put it all on the line in a contract and sign. Just like Tommy and his dad didn’t."

Paul has previously publicly accepted KSI's proposed winner-takes-all deal, which will likely be a more realistic point of referral for both men if they are to agree a lucrative deal. Despite Paul's recent loss, a fight between the pair remains considered by far the biggest fight in the influencer space, given the audiences both men bring to the table.

KSI has beaten Luis Pineda, Swarmz and FaZe Temperrr since returning to the ring and has regularly called out Paul without a deal being yet to materialise. However despite stating his ambitions, 'The Nightmare' has even indicated he could move on from his rivalry with Paul to instead pursue a fight with Fury if he wins their rematch.

"At that point I'd probably have to fight Tommy Fury instead of Jake," KSI said during a Twitter space with fans. "If Tommy beats Jake then I don't think that's the money fight any more. For me it's always about being the best, I have a goal of fighting three fights this year and I'd have to do more than I said I would do [to fight both]."
