KSI prediction comes true as Sidemen announce huge update for London Stadium charity match

The Sidemen's 2023 charity football match has officially sold out after thousands of supporters snapped up the chance to see their favourite YouTube stars in action.

This year's edition of the popular YouTube group's charity game will take place during September's international break - Saturday September 9 - at West Ham United's London Stadium.

Tickets for the fixture were made available for the public to buy on Monday, July 3 and fans were quick to snap up their seats for the day. Two hours after tickets were released, The Sidemen confirmed that the London Stadium would be sold out in September.

"SOLD OUT. 62k tickets gone to you guys, thank you so much, this is going to be an incredible event that will go down in YouTube history," they wrote on Twitter.

"If you didn't manage to get a ticket you can still watch it live on the day and donate to support. Bring on September 9th."

The event will see thousands of spectators pack into the Premier League venue to see a number of social media and YouTube's most popular individuals raise money for great causes.

After selling out 26,000 tickets for the last event at Charlton Athletic's The Valley Stadium, Sidemen member KSI warned supporters they may struggle to get tickets. He wrote on Instagram: "Good luck tryna get tickets." Following the announcement the charity game had sold out, the rapper thanked supporters on Twitter.

"Congrats to everyone who got tickets," he said. "Let's try and raise as much money for charity as possible! Can't wait for the 9th September!"

Thousands of supporters vented their frustration at missing out on tickets on social media, with queue numbers hitting over 25,000 people at one time.

Supporters who failed to purchase tickets will still be able to donate and watch the fixture on the Sidemen's official YouTube channel.
