KSI explains exactly why he believes he will beat YouTube rival Jake Paul

YouTube boxer KSI has explained that with his new technique, he is confident that he will be the man to hand Jake Paul his first defeat inside the boxing ring.

Paul has yet to lose a fight in six professional bouts and one white collar, while KSI has had a number of fights at various levels and has also never taken a loss. The Brit had two white collar bouts, beating Joe Weller and drawing with Jake's brother Logan, before turning professional to beat the elder Paul brother.

KSI then took three years out and returned with two fights in one night at the O2 Arena last August, both of which he won by TKO against rapper Swarmz and journeyman boxer Luis Pineda. In his latest comeback bout he viciously knocked out Faze Temperrr at the OVO Arena Wembley, landing the first victory of his career that really showed off the severity of his massive punching power.

"The technique, bro, the technique is dangerous," KSI said in a YouTube video analysing his win over Temperrr, which was entitled 'This Is Why I'll Beat Jake Paul'. "It really is dangerous and I've still got so much more to learn, big up MVP; I'm talking about Michael 'Venom' Page, the only MVP that really counts, the only MVP that really matters.

"I know that people are going to be like 'yo, your technique sucks blah, blah, blah well f*** the technique then. I don't give a s***, f*** the technique. Let me touch your chin and let's see if you get up... I talked a lot before the event being super confident, feeling like I was on a different level but I think I've shown it now. Ultimately there's a main goal [fighting Paul] and I'm working towards that."

It is expected that Paul and KSI will finally meet in the ring this December, presuming they can agree on terms. The Brit insists that he wants to fight in the UK and be the A-Side for the contest, as well as dictating the weight for the bout, but will likely have to make some concessions in order to get his long-term rival into the ring.

Speaking with Mirror Fighting last week, KSI laid out his terms, saying: "Weight-wise, I'd love it to be 176lb, 177lb, but 180lb sounds perfectly fair, maybe even slap a rehydration clause - I know he'd want that!

"It has to be in the UK, I think I'm definitely the A-Side, I walk second, ring size I think it should be a nice 20-foot ring and I think that's it that's on my mind. I'm sure there are other things money-wise that Mams [Taylor, his manager] and Nakisa [Bidarian, Paul's manager] can deal with. 50-50 seems fair. I don't think it should be 60-40 in anyone's favour or anything. 50-50 makes sense."
