AC Milan will only sanction Krzysztof Piatek's sale to Tottenham Hotspur if they receive two players as part of the deal, according to reports.
With top scorer Harry Kane ruled out until April with a hamstring injury, Spurs boss Jose Mourinho is desperate for a top quality forward who can lead the line in the England captain's absence.
One name that has been linked is Piatek, with the Milan striker also reportedly interesting a host of other Premier League sides, including Newcastle and Aston Villa.
According to The Sun, Tottenham have already agreed a £23.8 million deal to sign Piatek, with the Polish striker reportedly set to sign a three-and-a-half-year contract and will complete a medical in the next 48 hours.
However, reports in Italy claim Milan have rejected Spurs' initial bid, which was to loan the forward with an option to buy in the summer.
GianlucaDiMarzio.com believe the Serie A turned down Tottenham's offer and have requested that the Premier League side must sign Piatek on a permanent basis.
Milan have also demanded that Spurs include defender Juan Foyth and midfielder Victor Wanyama in part-exchange.
Foyth's agent admitted that his client could leave Spurs this month, with the centre-back struggling to establish himself in the first team since Mourinho succeeded Mauricio Pochettino.
"We are evaluating the possibility of going out in the January market," Claudio Curti told Inter Dipendenza (via Sport Witness).
"We wait for this week to find clarity with Tottenham.”
