Kroud Karaoke will return to Newcastle for four dates across the spring and summer.
The pop-up Central Park outdoor venue in Times Square, Newcastle, will host the events.

"Complete with a full production including giant lyric reading screens, incredible stage lighting and classic playlists, the event is set to inject an awesome feel-good factor back into the city after a gruelling two years in and out of lockdown."

Tyneside DJ Chris Shrouder developed the Kroud Karaoke concept, which has proved to be a big hit in Newcastle, and was often held at Stack, the shipping container park in Pilgrim Street. Stack closes in May, but the party continues over in Times Square, where the outdoor Central Park venue will relaunch in April.
Chris said: “We are really excited to be working in partnership with Central Park, our new home for the summer!
“The venue is a perfect fit for our brand and we can’t wait to party with everyone.
“Already we have a huge summer planned. As well as Central Park we're playing some of the biggest festivals across the North East including Kubix, Festival by the sea, Noughtys 90’s and Hardwick Live, to name but a few. Summer 22 is going to be our biggest yet.”
There are four Kroud Karaoke events planned for Central Park from April to August. Around 2,000 are expected to attend each of them.
Central Park announced last month that it will be returning to Times Square in Newcastle after a hugely successful first year. The pop-up event space will offer outdoor drinking, street food, entertainment and sport events. Central Park will open seven days a week from midday to midnight, from Thursday April 14 until August 21.
Central Park will host Kroud Karaoke events on Friday April 22, Friday May 13, Friday June 17, Friday July 15 and Friday August 12.
