Kriti Sanon will be seen reuniting with her 'Luka Chuppi' co-star Kartik Aaryan for in 'Shehzada', which is an official Hindi remake of Allu Arjun and Pooja Hegde starrer 'Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo'.
Spilling some beans on the same, Kriti told a news portal that the role is rewritten from the original. According to the actress, she plays a lawyer in the film and the female character in the original wasn’t one. She also added that her character is independent, strong-headed and doesn’t stand in the background.
Kriti also added that there are fresh scenes. 'Shehzada' is a male-centric film. Earlier, such movies had female characters who were submissive and damsels in distress. That is changing, the actress told Mid Day.
Kriti also went on to add that she is balancing the masala film with 'The Crew' which also stars Kareena Kapoor Khan and Tabu. The actress said that she is working with female actors whom she admires and according to her, people don’t get to do this very often. This film is all about the camaraderie of the three characters. They are from three different generations, so it will be cool coming together.
The actress will also be seen next in Om Raut's 'Adipurush', co-starring Prabhas and Saif Ali Khan. Talking about the teaser of the movie receiving criticism from the audience, Kriti said that it was just a one-minute teaser and that there is much more to the film. According to her, people judge very soon and it is unfortunate.
