Celtic centre-back Kristoffer Ajer is reportedly attracting interest from Bundesliga giants RB Leipzig, with the Norwegian seen as the German side's back-up plan during the summer transfer window.
Ajer, 23, has established himself as one of the Hoops ' most important players in recent seasons but with just 12 months remaining on his current contract, and the man himself openly stating his desire to play his football elsewhere, it looks like he could be heading for pastures new in the not too distant future.
And one of his admirers, as reported by FourFourTwo, are Red Bull-backed Leipzig - but they'll only make a move if they fail to sign Wolfsburg's Maxence Lacroix, who is their apparent first-choice.
French Under-20 internationalist Lacroix has attracted interest from across the continent after a stellar campaign in Germany's top-flight, but Wolfsburg's asking price could be prohibitive.
And if that proves to be the case, don't be too surprised to see Leipzig come calling for Ajer, with Newcastle United and Leicester City also credited with an interest in the Norway star.
