Kristina Rihanoff says Strictly curse is inevitable as Stacey Dooley 'falls victim'

Former Strictly Come Dancing pro Kristina Rihanoff says it was only a matter of time before the 'curse' struck again, with Stacey Dooley said to be its latest victim.

Stacey, 32, has split from boyfriend Sam Tucknott, 30, and apparently waltzed off with dance partner Kevin Clifton after reportedly falling for each other on the Strictly tour.

And Kristina - who dated her 2009 partner Joe Calzaghe before getting with 2013 contestant Ben Cohen - said on-set romances are impossible to avoid.

"That's what's difficult about this because there is always going to be someone hurt or someone feeling it's wrong what's happening, but people do meet at work and that's where we work," she told the Daily Star .

"At the end of the day you have a very big task in front of you and lots of pressure on your shoulders.

"People have to trust one another, and I think that's where it all starts."

Kristina was branded a home wrecker over her romance with rugby star Ben, who was married to now ex-wife Abby when he took part in the show.

However, both insisted they only started seeing each other after Ben and Abby's 2014 split.

His ex, though, saw it a differently.

“My husband, who I was with for 23 years, unconditionally loved and was completely loyal to in every respect, has left me for a f * g Russian dancer,' she raged to The Sun.
