Kristijan Lovrić makes Celtic intentions clear as £5m winger does his Parkhead research

Celtic linked winger Kristijan Lovrić has dropped a major hint he could be on his way to Parkhead after following the club on Instagram.

The Parkhead side have been heavily linked with the Croatian for some time and his recent activity suggests something could be afoot.

The 25-year-old, currently playing for HNK Gorica, was rumoured to have attracted interest from Celtic back in March, but new boss Ange Postecoglou could be the one to secure the switch as he continues the club's rebuild.

Lovrić also followed a Celtic fan page on Instagram which again indicates the player is in talks with the club.

The account "celtic_fan_zone" which Lovrić now follows put up a post this afternoon saying the move to Celtic could be happening soon.

Postecoglou has been stepping up his transfer business in recent days with the signing of Japanese star Kyogo Furuhashi on a four-year deal announced on Friday.

That followed 19-year-old Liel Abada completing his move to Glasgow on Wednesday.

The new arrivals join Liam Shaw and Osaze Urghohide who both joined from Sheffield Wednesday this summer.

Swedish defender Carl Starfelt is also due to undergo a medical ahead of signing on at Celtic Park and he is likely to replace Kristoffer Ajer in the squad.

Ajer is set to join Brentford for a fee worth around £13.5million.
