Kristi Noem’s husband Bryon Noem is in the news for leading a secret double life as a crossdresser. The entire Internet has circled around this story for most of the day! With all the fervor around conservative voices bashing Trans Day of Visibility, they found the conversation hijacked.
Reporting from The Daily Mail said that Bryon Noem contacted Bimbofication sex workers. He also had been cross-dressing and that has been confirmed by multiple media sources at this point. There are text messages and social media correspondence with multiple roleplay fetish specialists. Noem expressed the desire to be turned into a Barbie doll or a “bimbo.” He clearly had some desires that were being suppressed.
Further details from their investigation concern Noem sending over $25,000 to sex workers. He also told them he liked their “huge, huge ridiculous boobs.” Images obtained by The Daily Mail show him in a large apparatus that gave the conservative man the appearance of having large breasts. In other photos, Noem poses in really tight pink shorts along with his fake chest. It’s a bizarre story along with the timing of these details being released. He reportedly asked a sex worker to “turn me into a girl.”
Crossdressing isn’t a problem, or even illegal actually. However, the Internet at large leapt to discuss Noem being caught out like this publicly. Comedian Jay Jurden joked that his fake nipples were so far apart that Noem looked like Kash Patel. Clearly there are some ridiculous parts of this story. But, it is sad that so many queer people, trans people, and others have alluded to this hypocrisy, only for it to rear up at the worst possible times. Now, a lot of the conservative movement will have to answer these questions as the government is still shut down!

When you’ve done as much damage to the queer community as Kristi Noem has, people are going to want answers. The New York Post approached her for comment, and he representatives tried to beg off of it. “Ms. Noem is devastated. The family was blindsided by this, and they ask for privacy and prayers at the time,” they said. That comes as a shock for people who used to prop up the former Chief of the Department of Homeland Security.
Bryon Noem living this double life can’t have been easy to have sprung on you like this. (All of these suppositions rely on the idea that she had no idea what was going on. But hey, that could be possible. Unlikely, but possible!) Still, even the President of the United States had to offer a comment on this.
Trump responds to the drama
Talking to The Daily Mail, Trump said, “They confirmed it? Wow, well, I feel badly for the family if that’s the case, that’s too bad. I haven’t seen anything. I don’t know anything about it. That’s too bad, but I know nothing about it.
Kristi Noem signed the “Religious Freedom Restoration Act” into law when she was Governor of South Dakota. That legislation allowed discrimination against LGBTQ+ people under the umbrella of religious freedom. Noem also banned gender affirming care and more during her tenure. To say nothing of all the ICE atrocities under her watch at DHS.
