Krispy Kreme reportedly set to open second Irish store in Dublin city centre

Doughnut chain Krispy Kreme are believed to be considering opening a second Irish store in Dublin city centre.

The famous franchise opened its first store in Blanchardstown last September.

The store has been a huge success with customers queuing at all hours of the night at the 24-hour store.

Krispy Kreme customers can now customise their treats with personalised messages

This led to some initial conflict with local residents who were disturbed by the noise of cars beeping their horns while waiting at the drive-thru.

Krispy Kreme subsequently scaled back their opening hours to 11:30pm to appease locals.

The Dublin 15 outlet has been such a success that commercial property sources are eyeing up property in the city centre, reports the Sunday Business Post.

Dublin doughnut lovers rejoice because Krispy Kreme is now available on Just Eat

The sweet treat-makers will be hoping to fare better than other doughnut shops that recently operated in the city centre.

Aungier Danger went into liquidation last year, while the Dublin Doghnut Company closed at the end of 2017.
