Easter is less than two weeks away and Krispy Kreme is celebrating the occasion by smashing two favourites together – its signature doughnuts and the iconic Creme Egg.
The Egg-splosion is described as being "filled with a fondant yolk, dipped in chocolate flavour coating and drizzled with white and yellow icing".
Although it hasn't been launched in collaboration with Cadbury, the fondant centre looks very familiar, reports the Mirror Online.
Food blogger New Foods UK posted images of the Easter treats on Instagram, commenting: "Looks like a Creme Egg Doughnut!"
In a separate post, they added: "The Egg-splosion has to be our favourite!"
The treat is already on sale in stores and stands across the UK.
It can also be ordered online and delivered to your door as part of Krispy Kreme's Easter Egg-stravaganza Dozen.
The seasonal range also includes Egg-Streme Berry Pop, which is filled with raspberry jam, dipped in icing and decorated with orange and strawberry-flavoured popping candy.
Krispy Kreme stores are open for click and collect as well as takeaway.
