Krispy Kreme launch KitKat doughnuts - but they won't be around for long

KitKats and doughnuts are perhaps two of the top snack foods.

So, Krispy Kreme have come up with a game-changing idea by merging the two.

Forget the Nutella doughnut as the KitKat doughnut is set to be released very soon by the iconic doughnut company, reports MirrorOnline.

There's two equally as tasty sounding flavours to pick from: classic milk chocolate or white, which each ring doughnut glazed with smooth chocolate icing, being being dusted with crushed KitKat pieces and finished with an iconic KitKat finger.

Both the white chocolate and the milk chocolate Krispy Kremes will set you back £1.90 each - slightly more than a standard £1.55 original glazed.

Launching over the Bank Holiday weekend on Monday 26th August, sadly, the treats won't be available for long, so you'll need to get your hands on one before they're stopped forever on the 13th October.

If you want to be first to taste the new doughnuts before they hit the shelves, Krispy Kreme are giving away free limited edition dozen boxes to the first drivers in the drive-thru queue of their Drive Thru Theatre store sat midnight on Sunday night of August 25th (through to Monday 26).

Bristol, Edinburgh, Enfield, Gateshead, Leeds, Manchester, Peterborough and Shannon Corner will be running the competition, with the first person in line even bagging an exclusive, money-can’t-buy, super-sized KitKat box - shaped like a classic two finger KitKat bar - full of the new KitKat Krispy Kreme doughnuts.
