Krispy Kreme joins Eat Out to Help Out scheme and launches half price offer on doughnut dozen boxes

Scots will be able to enjoy their favourite dine-in meals for less from Monday as the Eat Out to Help Out scheme begins at participating eateries.

The initiative has been launched by the UK Government in a bid to restart the economy in the wake of the coronavirus pandemic and subsequent lockdown.

Diners will be able to get money off meals at participating restaurants and cafes when they dine in every Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday until August 31 - up to the value of £10 per head, per meal.

Customers don’t need a voucher to redeem the offer and can use the discount as often as they like throughout the month.

The list of participating chains has been growing since the initiative was announced last month and now Krispy Kreme has unveiled tasty half-price deals and new special offers - not just for those sitting-in.

The doughnut chain says selected stores throughout the UK will be participating in the Eat Out to Help Out scheme, but if you don't have an eat-in store nearby, there are still great offers available.

Doughnut lovers who choose to takeaway can also get 50 per cent off the iconic Original Glazed dozen on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday thanks to a new special offer.

The iconic Original Glazed dozen is usually priced at £10.45 - so you'll be making a tasty saving.
