Krispy Kreme is giving all emergency workers 50% off orders

American doughnut brand Krispy Kreme has announced it is giving all frontline emergency workers 50% off purchases as a thank you for their hard work during the pandemic.

The incredible discount is open to all NHS, fire service, and police workers with valid ID, but can only be claimed at Krispy Kreme standalone stores and drive thru branches across the UK.

Frontline workers will need to send proof of employment to vip@krispykreme.co.uk  and will then be sent a unique code to use.

The brand announced the offer, which is part of its #servingsmiles campaign, online with this message: "Our frontline heroes & keyworkers are all truly amazing and we thank you from the bottoms of our hearts.

"We will continue to serve more smiles each week to support amazing causes during the crisis and are now offering all NHS workers, policeman and firefighters 50% discount off our entire menu".

The chain previously provided free doughnuts to essential workers during the peak of the pandemic, as a thank you for all their hard work.

Its goal of half a million deliveries of its much loved Original Glazed doughnuts to hospitals, police stations food charities, carers and critical key worker groups battling COVID-19 has now been met.

However, the brand is still committed to supporting keyworkers with its latest deal.

Many of the chain's stores are now open for click and collect orders, or delivery from Deliveroo, Just Eat and Uber Eats.

The chain has also confirmed doughnut cabinets are now back in 450 supermarkets across the UK, and shoppers can check retailers in their area online by visiting krispykreme.co.uk.
