Kris Boyd refuses to let Celtic 'offside' goal go as Charlie Adam's 'boshing' comes under his glare

Rangers legend Kris Boyd was in a mischievous mood in the wake of Celtic's 4-2 win over Dundee as he claimed Jota's opener was offside.

The Benfica loan man was brilliant once again and his deadly double helped the Parkhead side to a vital win at Dens Park that has them second before the final international break of the year.

Kyogo Furuhashi was also at the double, and while the Rangers favourite waxed lyrical about the pair, he also took issue with the Portuguese star's opener during a pulsating 90 minutes in the City of Discovery.

Boyd had a nibble when colleague James McFadden was breaking down Jota 's opener, with his cry of "offside" being ignored by the Scotland icon.

However, the 38-year-old doubled down moments later when speaking straight after James McFadden's glowing appraisal of the player who can be had by Celtic for £6.5m.

Speaking on Sky Sports, Boyd joked: "And he also gets offside goals."

Before host Eilidh Barbour sharply responded: "You had to get that in, didn't you?"

But it wasn't just those in green and white that Boyd was playfully joking about, as old pal Charlie Adam was mercilessly trolled by his old Ibrox pal.

The pundit reckons the former Liverpool man needs to work on his muscles after being nudged off the ball against Celtic.

He added: "It's great movement from Jota, it's a great ball in from Anthony Ralston, although, I'll be speaking to Charlie Adam later, he'll need to get in the gym, that's for sure, that big physique just got boshed."
