Kris Boyd branded Joe Rothwell's post-match interview after Rangers' draw with St Mirren as "damning" as he questioned a Rangers transfer trend.
The Ibrox hero was stunned at Rothwell's interview on Sky Sports where he admitted St Mirren won more second balls as Rangers struggled in Paisley.
Jonah Ayunga fired the hosts in front at the SMiSA Stadium before a Findlay Curtis strike rescued a point for Russell Martin's side in the closing stages.

Boyd was left concerned by Rothwell's comments as he demanded the midfielder do more to avoid the situation.
"That interview there was pretty damning for me as well," said Boyd on Sky Sports.
"Joe Rothwell is talking about St Mirren picking up second balls that they were first to; that is your job.
"You are in that midfield; that is what you were brought in for.
"You're meant to be the guy that is going into the box that is picking second balls up."

The former Rangers striker then questioned the reliance on signings from the lower leagues in England as he suggested the market is "inflated and overrated".
Boyd continued: "He has brought a few players in, but I think he needs to be very, very careful.
"He keeps going back to the English market as well, inflated, overrated for me, especially when you go down the leagues.

"There is a long list of Rangers players who have arrived from the Championship or below who have failed here.
"And I am afraid to say, at this moment in time, Max Aarons and Joe Rothwell seem to be falling more towards the Kieran Dowell, Ben Davies, Todd Cantwell, Tom Lawrence category than what they do with the likes of Connor Goldson and James Tavernier.
"Right now, Rangers are a million miles away from where they need to be."
