Kris Boyd aims 'season ticket' taunt at Aberdeen fans after Rangers' defeat with Joe Lewis in studio

Kris Boyd aimed a cheeky 'season ticket' dig at the Aberdeen support following Rangers' defeat at Pittodrie.

Barry Robson's men kept up their incredible run of form in the Premiership with a seventh win in a row as they re-established their five point advantage over Hearts in the race for third spot. The Jambos put the pressure on by ending their losing streak with a thumping 6-1 win over Ross County - but Liam Scales and Bojan Miovski netted in the second period to send the home support wild and pick up a big three points.

Boyd labelled Aberdeen's performance as 'unbelievable' but couldn't resit aiming a cheeky jibe at the home support by claiming season ticket holders had to be out the ground ten minutes before the end when they usually played Rangers.

In the studio with Dons keeper and pundit for the day Joe Lewis, He told Sky Sports: "Second half they (Rangers) were woeful, absolutely no doubt about it.

"First half, they created a few chances and if you don't take them then you run the risk of being punished. That is what happened.

"Aberdeen were unbelievable and fair play to them, cause I thought with your season ticket you had to be out the stadium for 80-odd minutes when you played against Rangers but they are in to the end and enjoying it."

Both clubs are now eagerly awaiting the SPFL releasing the split fixtures. It is expected both Aberdeen and Rangers should find out their order of opponents for the final five games of the season later today.
