Krept & Konan accuse restaurant of racism after being accused of stealing meal

Dynamic duo Krept & Konan have accused restaurant workers of racism after they were chased down because staff thought they didn't pay their bill... despite leaving cash on the table.

The British rappers - whose real names are Casyo Johnson and Karl Wilson - were dining at a restaurant in Glasgow before their experience was tainted by staff.

The hip hop artists, both 29, took to Twitter to share the ordeal with their 235,000 followers.

They penned: "In Glasgow in a restaurant and the lady thought we ran off without paying, we left the money on the table but her first instinct was to chase us loool."

They added: "These times man tipped her aswel [sic] smh. not saying its cos we black but i think its cos we black."

Some fans were outraged to hear the news, and many rushed to reply with their two cents.

One wrote: "Shoulda gone back to show her taken the tip back..."

While another added: "Would’ve taken my tip back and deducted any service charge on there."

A third wrote: "You should've taken the tip back right in front of them."

The pair have always been outspoken, as last year the musical duo accused police of using laws intended to fight terrorism to instead clamp down on musicians.

Krept and Konan voiced their anger when two fellow hip hop artists were given a suspended prison sentence because of their lyrics earlier last year.

The pair branded the moves "moral cowardice" and said drill music is merely a reflection of the lives disenfranchised youths live.
