Krasimir Kartikov death: Man charged with murder over death of 60-year-old in Croydon

A man has been charged over the murder of a 60-year-old man in Croydon.

Nikolay Zhivkov, 44, was charged early Saturday morning with the murder of Krasimir Kartikov, a Bulgarian national, who was found dead at his home on Monday.

Zhivkov, a fellow Bulgarian national who has no fixed address, was arrested in relation to Mr Kartikov's death on Thursday and is set to face Wimbledon Magistrates Court on Saturday.

At about 8.50am on Monday, police were called by the London Ambulance Service to a report of a deceased man inside a home on Whitehorse Road, Croydon.

A post-mortem examination revealed Mr Kartikov died of multiple injuries.
