KPMG's Cambridge office looks to expand with two new managers

Two new managers have been appointed at KPMG to support the firm’s growing work in the East.

James Shields has joined the Cambridge office as business development manager from Bauer Media and will work closely with businesses across all of KPMG’s functions to support the firm’s continued growth in the region.

He is joined by Salvatore Di Maggio, who will be focused on supporting the firm’s work with fast growth startup and scaleup businesses across the region.

Salvatore specialises in working with technology and life-sciences businesses and joined KPMG in 2017 having previously worked at GSK.

Commenting on the appointments, Kelly Dunn, senior partner for KPMG’s Cambridge office said:

“We are delighted to welcome James and Salvatore to our growing team in the East of England working across our corporate sector and with the fast growth disruptors that are driving the local and national economy.

“Their appointments come at a time where we are seeing an increasing number of companies turn to us for advice as business confidence post-Brexit improves.

“Our clients play a key role in supporting the economy, in pushing innovation and productivity through new technology and the wider investment and funding needs they drive.

“The importance of this region and the potential for growth has been recognised by KPMG’s leadership who are continuing to invest heavily here.”
