Kourtney Kardashian wants to pull her kids off KUWTK over fears they will be trolled

Kourtney Kardashian has decided to take a step back from filming the iconic reality show Keeping Up With The Kardashians over fears of the negative effects it has on her three children.

The Hollywood A-lister, 40, made the decision to reduce her family's filming commitments to the show as her three children - Mason, 10, Penelope, seven, and Reign, five - continue to grow up in the spotlight.

The oldest sibling of the Kardashian clan reportedly doesn't see the benefits of continued 'public exposure' for the children she shares with hunky ex beau Scott Disick.

According to People, the concerned mum-of-three is now happy to be 'filming less' as her fears of online trolling towards her young ones reached an all time high.

Kourtney is thought to be firm with her decision after reaching 'breaking point' while filming the end of season 17 - much to the disappointment of her sister Kim Kardashian.

A source told People: "Kourtney is happy to be filming less for both herself and the kids. As Kourtney and Scott’s kids get older, especially Kourtney feels that public exposure is not really beneficial for the kids."

The insider added that the glamorous parent is concerned about the nature of social media and is increasingly more worried after 'nasty comments about the kids' are already out there.

The source also told the publication: "There are already trolls that post nasty comments about the kids.

"They are too young to read about it yet, but Kourtney would hate for them to read it as they get older. She feels more and more protective of the kids."

Kourtney shares her three children with ex-boyfriend, Scott Disick, 36, but is thought to be reconciling her recent romance with toyboy Younes Benjima, 26.

The news that Kourtney plans to reduce filming for season 18 due to concerns about 'public exposure' for her children comes after reports claimed the star has been at loggerheads with sister Kim, 39, over the decision.

After feeling like her filming boundaries were ignored for season 17, the sisters' relationship will reportedly appear more strained in the new season of their hit show.

During an episode of Laura Wasser’s podcast All’s Fair, Kim said that the situation between her and Kourtney gets “a little violent.”

She said: "It gets a lot worse before it gets better."

Also during a recent appearance on the Ellen Degeneres Show, Kim confirmed speculation that Kourtney would appear in the show less with a cryptic comment hinting at the drama.

The global star, who is married to rapper Kanye West, told the host: "We’ve come to the conclusion that [Kourtney will] film a little bit. I don’t even know if we have a conclusion, actually. It’s always up in the air."

Kourtney's rumoured decision to to pull her kids away from KUWTK comes just days after she was spammed with abuse from mean-spirited social media users over a cute photograph of her son Reign.

After she posted some pictures of Reign with their new puppy, some critics began to post nasty comments about her little one's appearance.

Some trolls insisted his hair was too long while others claimed he was standing too close to the hob. Of course, Kourtney's friends, family and supporters defended Reign and the mum-of-three and swiped back at the online trolls.
