Kourtney Kardashian explains why she made son Mason Disick delete Instagram

Kourtney Kardashian has gone into full-on mum mode as she shuts down her son Mason Disick's Instagram account.

The 10-year-old certainly ruffled some feathers during his brief appearance on the social media site, sharing information about his auntie Kylie Jenner's love life which had previously been kept out of the public domain.

Mason joined the social media site on Tuesday and even started broadcasting to the world with an Instagram Live video.

Kourtney and his father, Scott Disick, have acted swiftly though and that could be the last we hear from Mason for a while.

The 40-year-old Keeping Up With The Kardashians star spoke out about the issue during a Poosh Instagram Live session with Sarah Howard.

Kourtney said: "He started an Instagram yesterday and didn't ask us.

"I did delete it because Scott and I just felt like... He's 10!"

She continued, "I think there's an age limit with Instagram. I think it's... 13."

Kourtney said that she wanted him off there as social media can be a negative space to be in.

She added: "I think on Instagram, the thing that really worries me with kids is just comments.

"People can be so mean. It's really easy to get consumed with it. I just feel it's not the time."

During his time on Instagram, Mason revealed the status of Kylie and Travis' relationship among a host of subjects.

The eldest of Kris Jenner's grandchildren went rogue as he revealed "No, Kylie and Travis are not back together," in response to a question from a fan.

The drama was praised by fans as just the entertainment we need during the coronavirus pandemic.

"Mason Disick getting an Instagram account, saying Kylie and Travis aren’t together, getting his account deleted, and making national news is EXACTLY what I needed tonight. RUN HIM HIS MONEY," joked one.
