Kourtney Kardashian’s 10-year-old son Mason made news this week when he hosted an Instagram Live and claimed that his aunt Kylie Jenner is “not back together” with the father of her child Travis Scott.
After his account was mysteriously and swiftly deleted, his mother Kourtney has revealed that she was the one to delete it and explained her reasoning - without addressing what Mason said in the video.
Mason is one of Kourtney’s three children with Scott Disick, who she split from in 2015 but remains close to.
Although Scott is currently self-isolating with Kylie Jenner and their daughter Stormi Webster, Mason said in a livestream yesterday, “No. Kylie and Travis are not back together.”
Kourtney said during a Q&A livestream following the deletion of Mason’s account, “He didn’t ask [me and Scott.].”
Revealing Mason didn’t have a phone, her 10-year-old son managed to find a workaround to set up an Instagram account.
She said, “He has an iPad and a computer for his school. And so anyways, I did delete [the account] because Scott and I just felt like he isn’t - he’s ten.”
“I think there’s an age limit with Instagram. I think it’s 13,” she continued, referencing Instagram’s guidelines that users have to be at least 13 years old to set up an account.
“I think on Instagram,” she continued, “The thing that really worries me with kids is comments. People can be so mean.”
A day ago, Scott shared a video of himself playing basketball with his daughter Stormi. It is not known when the video was taken, however the basketball court does not look appear to be the one Jenner has in her backyard.
Instead, it looks incredibly similar to the one that Kim Kardashian West and Kanye West have in their backyard, from the colour of the court through to the winding path in the background.
Scott and Jenner broke up last October but have been co-parenting their daughter. Reports have linked Jenner romantically to musician Drake, though nothing has been confirmed.
