Kourtney Kardashian defends friendship with Addison Rae despite 21-year age gap

Kourtney Kardashian has defended her relationship with TikTok star Addison Rae after fans claimed the pair’s bond was ‘odd’ due to their age gap.

The Keeping Up With The Kardashians star, 41, has developed a close friendship with the 20-year-old social media star.

The pair have grown so close that they even quarantined together for weeks amid the coronavirus pandemic, and kept fans guessing as they shared cryptic ‘BFF’ snaps of them killing time by exercising and modelling for spontaneous Instagram photoshoots.

And during a recent episode of Keeping Up With The Kardashians, Kourtney was forced to defend her close bond with Addison, after her sisters Kim and Khloe suggested that the pair had been ‘hooking up’.

Due to Kourtney’s elevated mood and giddiness when she’s around the TikTok star, her siblings felt there may be more to the friendship than meets the eye.

The Poosh founder quickly put the speculation to bed when she told her sisters that she’s simply ‘content’ in her life, and Addison brings out the best in her because their ‘energies align’.

Defending their age gap, Kourtney insisted that while she may be two decades older than the social media star, she feels on the same level as her due to her ‘young heart’.

"I feel like I have a young heart and an old soul,” Kourtney confessed.

“I feel like, we all have such a good circle of people around us - everyone's just different ages.”

The reality TV star went on to say that her relationship with Addison is nobody’s business.

"I don't think every person needs to understand my relationships with each of my friends. It’s weird that people seem so bothered by it," she hit back defiantly.
