Kourtney Kardashian 'barely speaking' to ex Scott Disick amid her new whirlwind romance

Kourtney Kardashian's new romance with Travis Barker has been blossoming ever since they made it official in February.

The neighbours have been getting intimate - and sharing it with the world - lately, with Kourtney, 42, even tattooing the words "I love you" on her new beau on Wednesday.

But it appears that the new romance is having a negative effect on her relationship with the father of her kids Scott Disick.

Kourtney and Scott, 37, have three children together; Mason, 11, Penelope, eight, and six-year-old Reign.

And despite Scott recently confessing he would love to marry his ex on Keeping Up With The Kardashians, it appears that ship has sailed - and with it, perhaps their friendship too.

A source close to the former couple told E! News : "Scott and Kourtney have a tense relationship right now primarily because he's been focusing on his new life in Miami and because of Kourtney getting serious with Travis.

"They are barely speaking. It's hard for him to see Kourtney in love with someone else."

The source does say, however, that the pair "aren't fighting by any means," but admits the relationship has faltered.

There had been rumours that Scott had snubbed Kourtney at the weekend as America celebrated Mother's Day.

But the source has rebuffed these claims and instead insists that Scott wished her well in private.

"He doesn't want to interfere with her relationship," the source added. "They do connect about the kids often but that's about the extent of it currently."

Scott, who is currently dating Amelia Hamlin, had previously shared his concerns that the family would drift apart as Keeping Up With The Kardashians came to an end.

He said: "My biggest fear is that we will float apart and not see each other nearly as much because, if we don't work together every day, we're surely not going to see each other every day.

"It's very sad to me, you know. It's kind of the ending of an era."
