Kourtney Kardashian has put to bed allegations she was solely to blame for the shock end of her family's show.
After months of speculation over who was to blame for Keeping Up With the Kardashians ending - after an amazing 20-season reign over reality TV - the conversation has finally aired for all to see.
In the episode, which aired on E! on May 6, the family sit down to discuss whether they should renew their contract for future seasons, with Kourtney piping up to say she wasn’t keen.
A teaser clip shows Kourtney, Kim, Khloe and momager Kris all discussing the show's fate.
When questioned by Kris over whether it was time to end the saga, Kourtney said: “I definitely think it’s time.”
Though middle sister, Khloe, piped up to quip: “Kourtney thought it was time three years ago.”
Describing her turbulent relationship with the show, Kourtney told E!: "We always said we would do it together as long as we all wanted to do it and felt happy and that it made sense.
"I've definitely had my moments when I wasn't fully comfortable with filming and then there's so many exciting moments like where we've had the best times and great family trips and so many experiences that we wouldn't have had if we weren't filming.
"I think it's been a love-hate relationship," she added.
Meanwhile, Khloe wasn’t as quick to throw in the towel and argued: “Do I think we all need a break sometimes? Yeah. But I don’t know if that necessarily means to stop.”
Later in the episode, Khloe also declared: "It's definitely clear that everyone's decisions have been made but mine is the only one that would be against the rest of the family."
Kourtney also addressed the online backlash that she received after the family first announced they were axing the show back in September 2020.

In an on-screen conversation with her ex Scott Disick, she said: "It's so funny, there's all these memes online of like, 'Kourtney Kardashian single-handedly ended KUWTK’.”
When asked if it bothers her, she continued: "Yeah they're saying it as a joke but I'm sure there's people who really believe it."
Scott came to her defence to say it was "obviously not true" and that ending the legendary series was in fact a "family decision".
In an effort to shift the blame fans had put on her shoulders, Kourtney revealed it wasn’t the first time wrapping up the series had come up in conversation.

"Every time our contract's up we always have this conversation of like, 'Do we want to keep doing this? What are we happy with? What do we want to do?'
"If everyone wanted to keep doing it, I'm sure I would have kept doing it too."
Concluding her point, Kourtney added: "It was going to come to an end at some point.”
Not only does the end of an era episode show the influential family doing the rounds on social media to tell their adoring fans the news, but it also features the moment when they announced the end to the crew, who they called “extended family”.
