Former Liverpool midfielder Pedro Chirivella has sent a message to new Reds signing Kostas Tsimikas.
The 24-year-old has officially completed his move to Anfield after agreeing a five-year contract at Liverpool.
The Reds will pay Olympiacos an initial fee of around £11.75m and the Greece international will provide competition for Andy Robertson on the left side of the Liverpool defence next term.
Tsimikas will wear the No.21 shirt at Anfield next term and becomes the first signing of what is expected to be a quiet summer of spending.
The new Reds signing played alongside Chirivella during the latter’s loan spell with Dutch club Willem II back in the 2017/18 season.
Chirivella has sent a message to his former team mate, congratulating on securing his move to Anfield and paying the new Reds signing a big complement.
Chirivella wrote on Twitter: “So happy! Unbelievable player and one of the best guys I met in football.
“Congratulations brother. Enjoy! You will never walk alone.”
