Kostas Tsimikas's hilarious response as Liverpool celebrate Mohamed Salah Premier League landmark

Mohamed Salah was congratulated by teammates at the AXA Training Centre on Monday as he was awarded with a '100' shirt.

The Egyptian scored his 100th Premier League goal in Liverpool's 3-0 victory over Leeds United on Sunday and became the fifth fastest player to reach the century.

Teammate Kostas Tsimikas also shared a post on Instagram with a message to Salah and made a 'combined goals' joke.

He wrote: "Class from the club getting a shirt celebrating all the Premier League goals me and Mo [Salah] have scored combined.

"Okay… I think maybe he has contributed more.

"Congrats the Egyptian King. Legend on and off the pitch."

Tsimikas may not have scored his first goal for the club, but he's quickly becoming a fan-favourite with the nickname 'Greek Scouser'.

The left back has made just five Premier League appearances since his arrival on Merseyside last summer, three of which have come this season.

Almost all of Salah's 100 league goals have come during his time at Liverpool, with only two scored while at Chelsea.

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp told Sky Sports on Sunday: "With Mo's record, it's crazy, I don't know how many he can break and he's probably desperate to do so.

"Since he joined us, what a player! And he's still hungry.

“He was still not happy for not scoring one or two others, that's how top class players are.”
