A popular cider manufacturer has branched out into gin and is starting with some of the most popular flavours of the summer.
Kopparberg is famous for its traditional and fruit-flavoured ciders, and has now launched a strawberry and lime flavoured pink gin.
The new drink is set to launch across the country at the start of next week, reports The Mirror.
Initially launching on Bank Holiday Monday (May 6) at 700 Greene King pubs across the UK, anyone heading out for one final weekend tipple can test out the new flavour in their local.
After a few weeks of being served in pubs, Kopparbergs Strawberry and Lime gin will then hit supermarkets, with Asda and Morrisons both set to stock it from May 22.
Sadly, while the ciders will only set you back a few quid ( £2.20 each or three for £5.25 at Tesco ), the brand's gin will cost a lot more, at £22 for a 70cl bottle, although the gin obviously contains a much higher alcohol percentage, and so will need a mixer to go with.
