Young American winger Konrad de la Fuente has signed a new contract at Barcelona.
The 18-year-old attacker, an Under-20 youth international with USA, currently plays for the Catalans' Juvenil A team and also their reserve side, Barca B.
"FC Barcelona and U19A player Konrad de la Fuente have reached an agreement for the extension of his contract for the next two seasons, through to 2022, with an option for a further two," Barca said on their website.
De la Fuente, who is of Haitian descent and has been at Barcelona since 2013, has been handed a buyout clause of €50million (£45.46m) which will rise to €100m (£91m) if he goes on to represent the first team in future.
"Very happy to sign a new contract at the best club in the world," the player wrote on Twitter.
"Konrad is a strong, fast and explosive winger, good at one-on-ones, and can play on both wings," Barca added.
"He has played in 11 football teams for the club, and has won league titles with the U15B (2015/16), U15A (2016/17), U19B ( 2017/18) and U19A teams (2019/20)."
