MUMBAI: Kolkata will stage the knockout games of the Syed Mushtaq Ali T20 Trophy, while Ahmedabad will host the Vijay Hazare Trophy (One-dayers) KOs in the upcoming domestic season, as per the list of venues for the 2022-23 domestic season, which the BCCI sent to the state associations on Tuesday.
Lucknow, Indore, Rajkot, Punjab and Jaipur will stage the league stage of the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy from October 11-22. The knockouts of the T20 tournament will be held in Kolkata from October 30-November 5. Mumbai, Bangalore, Delhi, Kolkata and Ranchi will stage the league stage of the Vijay Hazare Trophy from November 12-23, while the knockouts of the tournament will be held in Ahmedabad from November 26-December 2.
Rajkot will host the Irani Cup tie between 2019-20 Ranji Trophy champions Saurashtra and Rest of India on October 1-5, while the second Irani Cup tie of the season, between Madhya Pradesh and ROI will be held in Indore from March 1-5 in Indore. The Ranji Trophy, which will kick off on December 13 and end on February 20, will be played on a home and away basis.
Beginning on Thursday, the Duleep Trophy will be held at four venues in Tamil Nadu- Chennai, Pondicherry, Salem and Coimbatore.
