KOLKATA: To accommodate the extra rush of passengers, South-Eastern Railway has decided to continue running summer special trains between Howrah and Digha every Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays and Mondays, till September 30.
The 08001 Howrah-Digha Special will leave Howrah at 2.25pm and will reach Digha at 5.50pm the same day. In the opposite direction, the 08002 Digha-Howrah Special will leave Digha at 6.25pm and reach Howrah at 9.45pm.The special train will have stoppages at Santragachhi, Uluberia, Mecheda, Tamluk and Contai.
