Recently, CM Mamata Banerjee rechristened the civil service study centre at NSATI as Satyendra Nath Tagore Civil Service Study Centre (SNTCSSC) with the idea that Bengal produces more bureaucrats.
Bandyoapadhyay launching the UPSC Prelims crash course hoped that SNTSCSSC would help civil service aspirants to achieve their much-cherished goal. Surajit Kar Purakayastha, former DGP and chairman of SNTCSSC, said, “The centre is starting the course for UPSC aspirants and will run the crash course for prelims for next two months.”
Rajanvir Singh Kapur, who had been the course director since 2018, said, “The crash course is for two months and will be conducted online.”
Meanwhile, UPSC notified on Friday that examinees can alter their choice of centres for Prelims 2021 in two phases — from July 12 to 19 and then from July 26 to 30.
