Kolasinac, Ozil, Saka and Tierney - Latest Arsenal team news and expected line-up vs Aston Villa

Arsenal and Unai Emery don't have much time to celebrate the win over Eintracht Frankfurt in the Europa League.

The Gunners return to Premier League action on Sunday - three days after their success in Germany - as they welcome newly-promoted Aston Villa to the Emirates Stadium.

Following last weekend's disappointing 2-2 draw away at Watford, supporters will be keen for a better performance as well as result.

In terms of team news, it's already evident as to who will be missing out against Villa.

Alexandre Lacazette remains sidelined due to an ankle problem, while Hector Bellerin and Kieran Tierney are set to step up their recoveries by featuring for the Under-23's tonight.

Sead Kolasinac appeared to be struggling at the end of the game against Frankfurt, but Emery has said he doesn't expect any injury problem to be too serious.

"He played Sunday, tonight, and he can feel some small problem but I think it’s not serious," the Spaniard confirmed in his post-match press conference.

In any event that Kolasinac is unable to play then Ainsley Maitland-Niles could switch over to left-back with Calum Chambers keeping his place on the opposite flank.

Two big decisions facing Emery ahead of Sunday's game is the formation and whether to stick with Bukayo Saka or hand a second start of the season to Mesut Ozil.

Considering Ozil was rested against Frankfurt it does seem likely that he will get the nod and that would mean no place for Saka despite his excellent showing in the Europa League.

That would also mean Emery sticking with the diamond formation unless he springs a surprise by bringing Reiss Nelson into team and sacrificing one of Granit Xhaka, Matteo Guendouzi or Dani Ceballos.

Expected Arsenal line-up vs Aston Villa: Leno; Maitland-Niles, Sokratis, David Luiz, Kolasinac; Xhaka, Guendouzi, Ceballos, Ozil; Aubameyang, Pepe
