Kochi: Trains rescheduled

Kochi Railways Assam Flood

KOCHI: The Railways has cancelled or rescheduled some trains due to the ongoing anti-Agnipath agitations and also the flood situation in Assam.

The Ernakulam Jn-Patna Jn Superfast (No 22669), scheduled to leave Ernakulam at 11.55pm on June 18, will now leave at 1pm on June 19. The Dhanbad Jn-Alappuzha Superfast (13351), which left Dhanbad on June 17 has been diverted from Simhachalam North to Duvvada, thus bypassing Visakhapatnam.

The Dibrugarh-Kanniyakumari Express (15906) of June 18 has been cancelled. The corresponding train (15905) scheduled to leave Kanniyakumari on June 23 has also been cancelled. tnn
