KOCHI: Kochi Metro Rail Ltd (KMRL) will conduct the trial run on its Phase 1-A extension from Petta to SN Junction on Sunday.
The total distance of the line, which is expected to be commissioned in April, is 1.8km. The Metro will have one stop at Vadakkekkotta between Petta and SN Junction. KMRL has informed that the works of the Vadakkekkotta and SN Junction stations are in its final stage and the track is also ready for the trial run. The Phase 1-A extension is the first stretch of the Metro which is being implemented by KMRL on its own. The first phase of the construction of the Metro was done by the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation.tnn
